Welcome back students!!!!

5th Grade:  We will be continuing with our Civil War Unit.  Today, we discussed the conflict that was developing between the free states and the slave states.  The students had a reading assignment of pages 232-233 and had a map of slave and free states to complete.  Both are due tomorrow.

6th Grade: We will not be taking a test on the conclusion of the French Revolution Unit.  Rather, the students began working on a project which is a resume for Napoleon Bonaparte.  They have been given a template or they can use their own.  We will continue this tommorrow and it will be due on Wednesday.

7th Grade: We covered the end of WWII today and we will not be taking a final test on WWII.  We will be starting a research project tomorrow to conclude our unit.  Rubrics will be handed out tomorrow and posted to the blog.

8th Grade: We will be looking at the branches of government during the next few weeks.  Today, we began with the Legislative Branch.  We also discussed the historical killing of Osama bin Ladin.  There was no HW today.
