5th Grade: We are busy working on our research papers which are due Thursday. Ms. Nelson's class will be with me for two periods tomorrow so it is okay if they have a lot of work to do still. Ms. Arrowsmith's class should be getting close to finishing as they have had two extra classes. Do not worry about the pop-sickle stick person part of the project. I want them to focus on the paper and we'll worry about the other part next week.
6th Grade: The Industrial Revolution Exam is scheduled for Tuesday, June 6. We took notes today and finished reading the unit. Study guides will go home tomorrow.
7th Grade: We will be focusing on the geography of the United States until the end of the year. We are currently covering the Northeast. The students have a map assignment that is due tomorrow. There will also be a quiz on Friday on the Northeast.
8th Grade: Our mock trial was a success as the kids seemed to have had a lot of fun. We have moved on to studying the Executive Branch and took notes today. No HW.
