5th Grade: Only Ms. Arrowsmith's class had SS today due to MCA Science testing. HW for today was pages 254-257.
6th Grade: The students took notes on the life during the Industrial Revolution and had a reading assignment of pages 176-180.
7th Grade: Due to our All School Celebration on Thursday, the due date for the Research Project will be on Monday, May 23. They should be done with their rough drafts and started on the final (or have at least 10 slides done for a PP)
8th Grade: The students continued learning about the judicial branch and we will begin watching a video, "12 Angry Men" tomorrow to learn more about the judicial process. The video is from 1957 and is not rated but was previewed by me and is a fantastic portrayal of the legal system. HW for today is to write a one-page essay on what the judicial branch does and how it fits into the "Checks and Balances" system we have been discussing. Due Tomorrow.
