5th Grade: We began a new unit today, Feudal Japan, and spent quite a bit of time discussing the current crisis in Japan. HW today was to get started on the unit vocabulary which can be found on page 191. It will be due on Friday.
6th Grade: We are transitioning from the Enlightenment to the French Revolution. Several groups presented their podcasts today and there was no HW assignment.
7th Grade: We reviewed the beginning of WWII and will be getting into the 2nd part of the war involving the U.S. We had a debate today about whether or not the U.S. should have gotten involved prior to Pearl Harbor. No HW.
8th Grade: We are beginning a new unit on Apartheid and South Africa. The students also participated in Geography Centers. No HW today.
