5th Grade: We just finished and presented our podcasts and they were GREAT. The students seemed to have had a lot of fun so ask them about their project. We will continue with the Age of Exploration and also take a look at the Slave Trade. I am excited to use a lesson I obtained from the National Slavery Museum.
6th Grade: I have handed out study guides and we will have an exam on Ancient Rome on Tuesday. Look for extra study guides under 6th Grade Assignments.
7th Grade: We are just finishing our unit on the 1920s and 1930s and the exam is scheduled for this coming Friday. Study guides will be handed out Monday and they can also be obtained under 7th Grade Assignments. All material is from notes and the text, War, Peace and All That Jazz.
8th Grade: We are finishing a long unit on The Civil Rights Movement. I will hand out study guides Monday. The exam will be on Friday and will include information from the notes, videos, and the texts, All the People and Free At Last. Aside from videos, the students have unlimited access to all of the materials.
