7th Grade: We are currently finishing our U.S. Geography unit and the students will be tested on a map of all 50 states and they will be responsible for knowing each state's capital city. This exam will be on Friday, April 19.
8th Grade: Mock Trial was a great success. The student are now learning how Congress operates and how a bill becomes a law. I have some fun activities in store for them to make the curriculum relevant to them.
9th Grade: The students have an exam on CH 9 Manifest Destiny on Wednesday, April 17. We will then be beginning our two-unit study of the Civil War. I am currently working on a field trip plan that will go along with this unit.
