Hello Parents and Guardians,
We have one week remaining in the first trimester. Check below to see what is happening in each of the Social Studies courses.
9th Grade: We are currently studying the American Revolution and will have a quiz on section 2 on Thursday. The students are working from Chapter 4 in their text books.
8th Grade: We are nearing the completion of our Cold War Unit. Currently, the students are working on an investigative writing assignment about the death of President John F. Kennedy. You can find the project instructions under "8th Grade Assignments." All of the unit notes are posted and the exam is scheduled for Friday, November 16. The scores will go on next trimester's grades.
7th Grade: The students have learned a lot about Europe and the unit is culminating with a large project. They have each chosen a county in Europe to research and have the option of writing a paper or preparing a presentation. The guidelines can be found under "7th Grade Assignments." The projects are due on Thursday and grades will go towards next trimester's scores.
