Welcome back and Happy New Year!
5th Grade: We are beginning a unit on the Age of Exploration and I am planning a project in which we will be creating podcasts as we learn about the Columbus voyages. Today we began our reading and vocab. There are 20 terms; I assigned the first 10 for now from pg 159
6th Grade: We are now learning about Ancient Rome. We did not have HW today.
7th Grade: The students will be learning about the 1920's and 1930's next. We took some notes today and did not have HW
8th Grade: Ask the students about their slave trade activity. We will be learning about the Civil Rights Movement and I plan on utilizing lots information and lessons I obtained while with Birmingham City Schools. We took notes today and did not have HW
